The Ghana Publishing Company Limited is exploring a bold move into security printing despite the financial hurdles associated with acquiring specialized equipment.
Acting CEO Nana Kwasi Boatey Esq. disclosed this on ABC News, highlighting the company’s vision for expanding into high-security document production.
“Security printing is something we really want to do,” Nana Kwasi Boatey stated.
“These things cost money because the equipment is expensive to acquire. But we are determined as a business to look into the holistic possibility of how to do it.”
Security printing, which involves producing highly sensitive documents such as government papers, certificates, and identification materials, is a specialized industry requiring advanced technology.
Nana Kwasi Boatey emphasized that despite the financial barriers, the company is committed to assessing and implementing the necessary strategies to enter the space.
