Egyptian star Mohamed Salah has committed his future to Liverpool by signing a new two-year contract that will keep him at Anfield until the summer of 2027.
The 32-year-old forward had been the subject of intense speculation throughout the season, with many reports linking him to a possible move to Saudi Arabia. With his previous contract set to expire this summer, doubts lingered over his future at the club.
However, those uncertainties have now been put to rest as Salah confirmed his intention to continue his journey with the Reds, where he has become a legend since arriving from AS Roma in 2017

“Of course I’m very excited — we have a great team now,” Salah told the club’s official media after signing his new deal.

Salah has enjoyed a remarkable career with Liverpool, scoring 243 goals and providing 109 assists in 393 appearances across all competitions. His goalscoring exploits have helped the club secure multiple trophies, including the UEFA Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup.
Salah remains a key figure in Liverpool’s quest for their 20th top-flight title, having scored 32 goals in all competitions this season, including 27 in the Premier League. The Reds are currently 11 points clear of second-placed Arsenal with just seven matches remaining.
Salah’s previous contract reportedly made him the highest-paid player in Liverpool’s history, with a weekly wage exceeding £350,000. Sources suggest his new deal retains similar terms, with no pay cut involved.
