Supporters attending Ghana’s 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Chad at the Accra Sports Stadium on March 21 will have to purchase tickets at the venue, as the e-ticketing system will not be in use for this match.
Although e-ticketing has been the standard for Black Stars games in recent years, the system has encountered technical difficulties, including internet connectivity issues, fraud risks, refund complications, and pushback from local ticket resellers. These challenges have led organizers to opt for traditional physical ticket sales for this encounter.
The decision follows problems during Ghana’s AFCON qualifier against Niger, where many fans faced difficulties accessing the stadium due to glitches in the e-ticketing system.
Despite this temporary change, officials have confirmed that e-ticketing will return for future Black Stars matches.
