Governance expert Dr. Frederick Oduro has praised President John Dramani Mahama for his promise to limit his cabinet to 60 ministers.
Speaking on ABC’s morning show, Dr. Oduro acknowledged that while reducing the number of ministers has been a longstanding pledge of previous administrations, it is often difficult to achieve.
He emphasized that if President Mahama follows through with this commitment, he would deserve recognition.
Dr. Oduro also encouraged the President to ensure that other key appointments are made with individuals who will be effective in their roles.
