The first event of the National Center “Russia” – the International Symposium “Creating the Future” – will become a unique platform for interstate dialogue, where participants will be able to discuss current problems of the present and develop ways to design a common future.
The Forum will take place from 4 – 6 November, 2024 comprising of a diverse background of industry professionals; scientists and researchers, futurologists and forecasters, science fiction writers, and government officials.
Representatives of 33 countries have already confirmed their participation in the Symposium.
The event’s prominent speakers will be former Austrian Foreign Minister Karin Kneissl, expert of the Institute for Defence Studies and Analysis Laxman Kumar Behera from India, Honorary Consul of the Russian Federation in Canada John Stuart Durrant, science fiction writer Roberto Quaglia from Italy, President of the Centre for the Restoration of International Law Goran Petronijevic from Serbia, and Ghanaian Intrapreneur Mr. John Aggrey, the CEO of Ghana-Russia Center for Commerce and Relations among other distinguished guests.
The international track is a significant area of the Symposium, which will contribute to strengthening international cooperation and mutual understanding between countries and provide an opportunity to form new connections and partnerships.
“The Symposium participants will discuss the global future of international law, the rapidly changing role of international organizations in regulating world politics, and the interaction of the countries of the Global South with the large economies of the “North”.
The discussions of the sessions will be devoted to the prospects for a peaceful neighborhood of the peoples of the planet from the point of view of building a multipolar and fair world order.
In addition, the speakers will touch on the topic of developing breakthrough digital technologies in international law and other important issues of modern international relations,” said Tatyana Kareva, Head of the International Cooperation Department of the ANO “Directorate of the Exhibition of Achievements “Russia”.
A major session of the Symposium will be on “Food Security and Food of the Future”.
Progress in the development of agricultural technologies follows several trends, from the production of organic food to the use of substitutes for traditional animal and plant-based proteins. What, then, does the food of the future look like? This is the question Speakers of the international round table will try to answer.
Mr. John Aggrey, the CEO of Ghana Russia Center for Commerce and Relations will be part of this sessions and deliver a brief presentation. Also in attendance is the company’s Head of Business and Innovations, Madam Ziona Ayorkor Biney, who will engage Women in agriculture and foster new areas of partnerships for development.
On July 1, 2024, President Vladimir Putin signed an order to establish the National Center “Russia” to preserve the legacy of the International Exhibition and Forum “Russia” and to demonstrate the country’s achievements on a permanent basis.
As part of the opening of the Symposium, an exhibition will be launched that will support the idea of a dialogue about the future of the world, with man at its center.
The exhibition will allow each visitor to realize the importance of a personal contribution to the future and will arouse a desire to become involved in its creation.
The symposium will create an open platform for the exchange of experience and knowledge between representatives of different cultures and countries.
