Deputy Director of Elections and IT for the NDC, Rashid Tanko Computer, has expressed confidence that their party is well-positioned to overturn the figures and secure victory in the upcoming Kpandai by-elections following the release of a recent Global InfoAnalytics poll.
Speaking in an interview on ABC In The Morning, Mr. Tanko Computer, said the poll was conducted during a period when the party had not intensified its grassroots engagement, which, according to him, affected the outcome.
“We were not seriously on the grounds at the time the poll was conducted,” he explained.
Mr Tanko Computer acknowledged that the party has encountered some challenges in the course of its campaign but emphasized that measures are being put in place to address them and strengthen the party’s operations ahead of the elections.
“We know there are few challenges; we are working towards it,” he said.
He expressed optimism that ongoing efforts, including increased presence on the ground and improved campaign coordination, will significantly change the political landscape in favour of the NDC.
According to him, the party remains confident of victory despite the current poll figures.
“We are going to overturn it. We are going to win the elections hands down,” Mr Tanko Computer stated.
As the by-election draws closer, campaigns are entering a critical stage, with political parties intensifying efforts on the ground to consolidate support and shape voter decisions.
