McDan Aviation has officially resumed its Fixed Base Operator (FBO) services as of January 20, 2025, following a temporary closure to address a $3 million debt owed to the Ghana Airport Company Limited (GACL).
The company, which operates a private jet terminal at Kotoka International Airport (KIA), expressed gratitude to the GACL for its support during the resolution process.
The debt, comprising unpaid land leases, rentals, and terminal charges, had led to the shutdown of operations on December 30, 2024.
With all financial obligations settled, McDan Aviation reaffirmed its commitment to providing top-tier private jet services.
This is not the first challenge for the company, as it previously faced suspension in 2022 over operational breaches.
Now back on track, McDan Aviation aims to restore its reputation as a leader in private aviation in Ghana while continuing to serve its clientele with excellence.
