Dr. Sofo Tanko Rashid, Acting Chief Executive of the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communication (GIFEC) and Deputy Director of Elections and IT for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has announced the party’s intention to challenge all illegally sworn-in Members of Parliament.

He stated that the NDC will take legal action to address any breaches of electoral laws.

His remarks follow a high court bench warrant issued for Ernest Yaw Kumi after his conviction for contempt.

Dr. Tanko emphasized that the party remains committed to upholding the rule of law and ensuring electoral integrity.

The NDC plans to use the courts to challenge and rectify any unconstitutional swearing-in of MPs.
