A new national poll conducted by Global InfoAnalytics indicates a significant increase in public optimism regarding the direction of Ghana, with 70% of voters now believing the country is headed in
the right direction.
This represents a notable jump from the 62% recorded in their April 2025 survey.

The latest findings, released by Mussa Dankwah, Pollster and Head of Research at Global InfoAnalytics on July 1, show a considerable shift in public sentiment.
While 70% hold an optimistic view, only 20% of voters believe the country is headed in the wrong direction.
This is an improvement from April, when 26% held a negative outlook. The survey, an online poll conducted between May 10 and May 20, 2025, gathered responses from 1,092 voters using probability random online sampling.
The results come with a 99% confidence
level and a margin of error of ±3.82%.

A striking detail from the poll is the broad consensus across the country: a majority of voters in every region, with the sole exception of the Ashanti Region, believe Ghana is headed in the right direction.
The Ashanti Region is traditionally considered a stronghold of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), making its outlier status a point of interest for political analysts.
