President John Dramani Mahama has urged Ghanaians to actively support the government’s reset agenda, emphasizing that the National Economic Dialogue is not just a forum for discussions but a platform to develop practical solutions for Ghana’s economic challenges.
Speaking at the launch of the two-day event on Monday, March 3, 2025, Mahama stressed that rebuilding the economy requires collective effort, urging stakeholders from all sectors to contribute towards shaping policies that will drive sustainable growth.
He framed the reset agenda as a national call to action, not merely a government initiative, stating that its success depends on broad participation and commitment.
Reiterating the urgency of the situation, President Mahama highlighted the need for swift, decisive action to restore economic stability and improve livelihoods.
He called on the private sector, policymakers, and civil society to collaborate in tackling the country’s financial difficulties, ensuring that the dialogue results in measurable outcomes.
“This is not just about talking; it is about finding real solutions that will change the trajectory of our economy and improve the lives of all Ghanaians,” he stated.
The National Economic Dialogue is expected to produce a framework for economic recovery, with stakeholders working together to implement reforms that will foster long-term prosperity.
