The Government of Ghana, under President John Dramani Mahama, has officially announced the National Economic Dialogue (NED) 2025, set for March 3rd and 4th at the Accra International Conference Centre.
Themed “Resetting Ghana: Building the Economy We Want Together,” the dialogue aims to tackle economic challenges and formulate solutions for sustainable growth.
This initiative fulfills President Mahama’s campaign promise to engage diverse stakeholders—including private sector representatives, civil society, and academia—in shaping Ghana’s economic future.
The forum will feature thematic sessions focused on achieving macroeconomic stability, promoting economic transformation, advancing infrastructure, implementing structural reforms, fostering private sector-led growth, and combating corruption.
Government officials believe these discussions will provide clear commitments and milestones to reset the economy and ensure long-term resilience.
According to Felix Kwakye Ofosu,Spokesperson to the President and Minister for Government Communications, the dialogue is designed to build consensus and foster collaboration.
The National Economic Dialogue 2025 will bring together key decision-makers, ensuring that Ghana’s economic policies reflect broad-based input and national interest.
The government sees this as a critical step toward restoring investor confidence, revitalizing business opportunities, and improving living standards.
