The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has debunked reports suggesting that the government is preparing to undertake a ministerial reshuffle, describing the claims as false and misleading.
In a statement issued on Saturday, June 6, Deputy National Communication Officer of the NDC, Godwin Ako Gunn, urged party supporters and the general public to disregard information circulating on social media and other unofficial channels regarding an alleged reshuffle.

According to the party, no official announcement has been made concerning any changes to the composition of government, and reports claiming otherwise should not be treated as credible.
The NDC expressed concern over what it described as the growing spread of misinformation, noting that some individuals deliberately circulate false narratives capable of creating confusion and eroding public confidence in official sources of information.
The party also refuted the authenticity of a purported letter allegedly originating from the Jubilee House, which listed ministers said to have been dismissed and others purportedly appointed to new positions.
The statement described the document as fabricated and cautioned the public against sharing or relying on its contents.
Additionally, the NDC reminded citizens of the legal consequences associated with the publication and distribution of false information, citing provisions of Ghana’s Cyber Security Act.
The party warned that persons found responsible for deliberately spreading misinformation could face sanctions under the law and urged the public to verify information through official channels before sharing it.
The NDC reiterated its commitment to transparency and encouraged Ghanaians to rely on credible and authorized sources for updates on government matters.
