Frank Davies, lead lawyer for Ken Ofori-Atta, has accused the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) of outright falsehood, claiming the medical report cited by his client was duly served with court documents on May 27.
Refuting the OSP’s public claim that the office was not served with a medical report, Davies firmly stated, “The report was attached to the court process that was served on him on the 27th of May. It was part of the bundle of court processes.”
He continued, “A follow-up letter on the 28th of May was served to his office, making reference to that medical report. How on earth will he come out to say that there was no medical report?”
According to Davies, this raises serious questions about the credibility and intent of the Special Prosecutor.
“If he was not served with the letter, how did he know the Special Prosecutor was suffering cancer?” Davies asked rhetorically, turning the OSP’s narrative on its head. The legal team maintains that all protocols were followed and warned that further developments will expose the truth.
“We will see who was telling the truth,” Davies said defiantly.
