Despite her concerns with the Electoral Commission’s handling of the Ablekuma North re-run, NDC parliamentary candidate Ewurabena Aubynn says she is confident of victory.
Speaking after the EC’s announcement, she expressed strong optimism, citing the groundswell of support she witnessed across the constituency during the initial election.
“Although the time given is pretty short, we have confidence in our voters,” she told ABC News GH on Thursday, July 3.
Aubynn believes the NDC’s message continues to resonate with residents, and the party remains well-organized to contest the re-run. “We’re mobilising again with full energy,” she said.
“The momentum we built in December is still alive, and we are more than ready to finish what we started.”
She urged all supporters to remain calm but vigilant as the re-run approaches.
“Let’s come out in our numbers and protect every vote,” she appealed. According to her, the trust she has built within the community through continuous engagement and service remains her biggest strength.
“Despite the challenges, I know my people will make the right choice.”
