Emmanuel Nii Ashie Moore, Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has strongly refuted a letter circulating within party circles that calls for nominations for positions in President-Elect John Mahama’s administration.
In a statement dated December 25, 2024, Ashie Moore described the letter as an unauthorized action by an individual in the Regional Secretary’s office, urging party members to disregard it entirely.
Ashie Moore clarified that neither the party’s national leadership nor the regional executives had approved any such directive.
“This action was taken unilaterally and does not reflect the stance or processes of the party. Members are advised to strictly follow established party structures,” he emphasized.
The statement underscores the NDC’s focus on disciplined governance as it transitions into power after Mahama’s victory.
The Regional Chairman further highlighted the ongoing work of the President-Elect’s transition team, which is prioritizing the implementation of ten key initiatives within the administration’s first 120 days.
Ashie Moore reassured party members that any appointments or nominations would be communicated transparently through proper channels, reflecting the NDC’s commitment to structured governance.
